Frequently Asked Questions
Individual results, treatment plans, and recovery experiences vary.
What is PDGF?⌄
PDGF stands for platelet-derived growth factor, a signaling protein involved in the body’s natural processes. Ariessence pure PDGF+ is a manufactured product containing recombinant PDGF and hyaluronic acid. It does not require a blood draw.
Is PDGF the same as PRP or PRF?⌄
No. PRP and PRF are prepared from a sample of your own blood and can vary between individuals. Ariessence contains manufactured recombinant PDGF, providing a consistent product without blood collection.
Will this fill under-eye hollows like dermal filler?⌄
PDGF under-eye treatment and traditional dermal filler are not the same and may be recommended for different goals. If volume loss is a primary concern, your provider will evaluate whether PDGF, PRF EZ Gel, filler, or another option is most appropriate.
How many treatments will I need?⌄
The number and timing of appointments depend on your anatomy, concern, treatment response, and goals. Your provider will recommend a personalized plan during consultation.
When will I see results?⌄
Timing varies. Early changes may be affected by temporary swelling, while the visible appearance may continue to evolve over time. No specific outcome can be guaranteed.
Is this treatment appropriate for everyone?⌄
No. Your medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, active skin conditions or infections, anatomy, and other factors may affect eligibility. An in-person assessment is required.
